David Berman

David Berman has over 30 years of experience in human-driven inclusive design and co-design. He is an expert in meeting WCAG, EN 301 549, ACA, ADA, AODA and AMA requirements for accessible sites, apps and documents. He has assessed government and business websites from over 30 countries for Tim Berners-Lee's World Wide Web Foundation.

David is past global chair of the International Association of Accessibility Professionals, holding every available IAAP certification for digital accessibility (and was the first in Canada to earn them all!). He has served as an Invited Expert to W3C (the publisher of WCAG) and serves on ISO and federal government committees for accessible PDF, website, and plain language standards.

David also advises Fortune 500 companies (Google, IBM, BMO, Honda,...) as a strategist, conformance testing lead, and author/presenter of professional development workshops and keynotes.
